Volunteer Now
These are the programs you can work on as a volunteer:
Program Work
You will be choosing to focus on a particular Cornerstone program area (Youth, Women, Health, HIV/AIDS, or Relief & Aid). Within the program area, however, there is great scope for initiative based on your personal interests, skills, background, and knowledge. The three or more months you will be with us is ample time to develop and see through a plan of action. While you will doubtless be thinking about it before you arrive, it's best not to become invested in specifics. Your work will evolve during your time here, and expectations may get in the way of the day-to-day reality.

Natural Healing
This is an educational program and may count a school credit
This program introduces you to the wisdom and practices of traditional, indigenous healers who combine the environment's natural resources with their own inner guidance. Some of their methods have been handed down through generations; others are blended with their own artful innovations. While home base for the program is San Ignacio, a thriving town (10 miles from Guatemala and 80 miles west of the Caribbean Sea), excursions allow participants to experience the majestic, mysterious Central American rainforest.
