Community Linking Projects

Making a difference, experiencing change

Mural Painting

This has been one of our most successful projects. It does not require any special skills and has proven fun for many groups and organizations. The overall project is aimed at leaving a positive everlasting message be it in the area of HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence or a message of your choose.

Building Projects

These projects can include simple task such as painting and simple repairs to more complex construction of walls, washrooms and playgrounds. Depending on the complexity of the project it is advised that at least one person in the group does have some construction knowledge and it is important to keep your time frame in mind when deciding on a project.

Clinics Projects

Clinics Projects

Supports volunteers with a range of experience, from those with a genuine interest but limited experience, to specialists in the field, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, special education teachers, speech and language therapists, nurses, and health educators as well as doctors. Belize is a poor country. With many of our people living well below the poverty level. We always welcome volunteers who would like to host a clinic. In the past we have seen success with, diabetes clinics, eye clinics, dental clinics just to name a few. Let us work with you and your group to help organize a clinic highlighting your specific field of interest.

This is a specialized program designed to allow volunteers form abroad to share the knowledge and skills with the people of Belize. If you have and idea please feel free to contact us.
